Hangame prepared a promotional event that poker players could get a chance to go to Vegas when they win 300 times. I was requested to create the cover image like the movie poster, “300.” There are some requirements such as Vegas buildings as the background, four card symbols on the scene, the iconic Vegas sign, and “Leonidas." The biggest challenge of the work was how to convert the dark and ruty original poster to the super clean and festival-like cover image Hangame wanted. Consequently, this version of Leonidas has the serious face and strong muscular body with the funny accessories; a heart shield, a ticket in the sheath instead of a sword, and so on.
